31 Day Challenge: Day 2 – Orange Stamped Gradient

Hi, everyone! So I’m finally back with my nail art for Day 2 off the 31 Day Challenge. (I’ll get caught up eventually…). My original idea was being uncooperative, so I went with a gradient with subtle stamping.

I started out with a base of Sinful Colors Cloud 9, a tangerine orange jelly with gold shimmer. It’s a little on the sheer side. I did two coats for my gradient, but it would’ve needed at least one more if I was going to wear it on its own.

I used Cloud 9 along with China Glaze Riveting (pumpkin orange with gold shimmer) and Zoya Autumn (deep orange with gold shimmer) to do my gradient, which took three coats for the result I wanted.

The gradient on its own reminded me of candy corn, which I hate, so I decided to add some stamping over it. I used Priti NYC Fireglow, a medium orange creme, and Bundle Monster plate BM-301 for some super subtle stamping. It reminds me of looking through a canopy of fall leaves on a sunny day.

That’s all for now! Thanks for looking!
