Pretty Serious green and gold nail art

Hi, everyone! The mani I have today was originally meant to be my St. Patrick’s Day nail art, but for a variety of reasons, I ended up doing it about a week later. So let’s get into the polish!

Pretty Serious Breathless is a limited edition kelly green with silvery flakies. This was nearly a one-coater, but I did two because there was a slight bit of unevenness. As of writing this, it’s still available on the website, but there’s no telling how much longer it will be there.

I then used a thin striping brush to add lines of Pretty Serious Yuletide of the Machines, a bright yellow-gold foil.

I added stripes of Pretty Serious VT100 (which, unfortunately, does not seem to be available anymore), skipping over the gold lines in some spots to create the illusion of a woven plaid.

After waiting for some quick dry top coat to dry, I taped off the triangles and painted on a generous layer of Pretty Serious Liquid Leprechaun (also currently unavailable, but it usually makes a reappearance every March). I tapped it down a bit once it had dried to the touch just to make sure the glitter was as smooth as possible. I then went back and added the outline using Yuletide of the Machines.

That’s all for today! Thanks for looking!
