HPB Presents: 1st Indie Brand

Hi, all! It’s hard to believe that it’s practically already March! However, February isn’t quite over yet, so I have my post for the February HPB link-up, which is the first indie brand I bought from. For more info about HPB, or Hobby Polish Bloggers, you can check out my first post here or browse all of my HPB posts here. You can also find our Facebook group here. Now, onto the polish!

The first indie polish I ever bought, way back in 2011, was Cult Nails Captivated. It’s a pinky coral jelly packed to the brim with iridescent golden glitter. I used two coats for my pics. It probably could’ve used three, but it was a little thick already (even after adding thinner). This is so metallic-looking and reflective that you don’t really see the VNL.

Sadly, though, Cult Nails has gone out of business. 😦 Maria made some extremely beautiful polishes that always had great formulas. You might be able to find some floating around on blog sales or Storenvy if you’re interested in hunting them down.

Be sure to check out some other awesome indies from my fellow HPB-ers at the InLinkz below!

That’s all for today! Thanks for looking!
