FingerPaints Bewitched Minis Swatches + Comparison

Hi, all! For today’s post, I have swatches of 3 of the 4 colors in the FingerPaints Bewitched Minis collection plus a comparison to a Zoya and a couple China Glaze polishes. The polish I didn’t get, Charmed, appears to be a plain black creme. On to the polish!

FingerPaints Candy Corn is a fairly standard red orange creme. It has a nice formula, not too thick or thin, and applies very smoothly. This is two coats.

For my comparison, I have Zoya Rocha (index finger,2 coats), FingerPaints Candy Corn (middle finger, 2 coats), China Glaze Pop the Trunk (ring finger, 3 coats), and China Glaze I Brake for Color (pinky, 3 coats). Rocha and Candy Corn are really close. Candy Corn is a bit more vibrant and a hair more red, but they’re close enough that one doesn’t need both. Pop the Trunk is more orange (and it’s not actually as close to Rocha as it seems either), while I Brake for Color is far more pinkish. Also, both of the China Glaze polishes have worse formulas.

On my index and middle fingers, I have Toil and Trouble. It has huge black hexes, large white hexes, medium silver hexes, and medium orange square glitter in a clear base. It’s not a dense glitter by any stretch of the imagination. I used two coats here. It required a good amount of dabbing and manipulation to get the glitter where I wanted it. I like the look of it, but the execution is a little lacking.

Under Your Spell was a different story. This was one coat, and it required very little manipulation. It has multi-sized black, white, and silver hexes along with silver shards.

These polishes can be found at Sally Beauty Supply for $2.49 for .18 oz.

That’s all for today! Thanks for looking!
