Hi, all! Today’s post is going to be even lighter on words than usual. It was rather rainy on the day I set out to paint this, so umbrellas sounded like a good idea.
I started with a base of 2 coats of Zoya Lillian. It’s a light robin’s egg blue with a slight hint of green to it.
I freehanded each umbrella using:
- Index finger – Zoya Oceane (a deep turquoise with a silvery glass fleck-ish finish)
- Middle finger – Sally Hansen Make Waves (medium aqua blue with greenish gold shimmer; interestingly, it has a pink shift at very extreme angles)
- Ring finger – Zoya Rebel (metallic sky blue with silvery shimmer)
- Pinkie finger – Zoya Jo (metallic periwinkle blue)
I added details using Nail Rock Velvet Navy (which came with a pot of navy flocking powder that I put on my thumb and proceeded to spill across my desk, leaving little fibers on all my other fingers…) and Essie In the Cab-ana.
That’s all for today! Thanks for looking!
