Hi, all! It’s time again for the monthly Hobby Polish Bloggers’ prompt, and for August, it’s neons. For those who don’t know, Hobby Polish Bloggers is a Facebook group for nail polish bloggers who do it for fun or just because we can. It’s a place where we can find information, feedback, and support. You can find us here if you’d like to join too!
I started with a base of two coats of China Glaze White Out, which is thin and runny and would’ve needed at least one more coat if I was wearing it alone. I used a whole bunch of China Glaze neons for this look:
- That’s Shore Bright (purple)
- DJ Blue My Mind (blue)
- Treble Maker (green)
- Daisy Know My Name? (yellow)
- Home Sweet House Music (orange)
- Sun of a Peach (orange-y coral)
- Red-y to Rave (red)
- You Drive Me Coconuts (hot pink)
- Bottoms Up (Barbie Pink)
I used three colors for the gradients on each finger and then used those same sets of three to create zentangle-style decals for my ring fingers and thumbs. (I unfortunately don’t remember where I found the tangles, so if you’ve seen them somewhere, let me know so I can add proper credit!) For the decals on my right hand, I switched up which colors I used first, so it gave it a fairly different look.

That’s all for today! Thanks for looking!
