Zoya Hudson + Nina Ultra Pro Twinkle Twinkle

Hi, everyone! Happy Friday! My nephew and I finished digging the hole for the window well the other day, so hopefully there will be a window going in soon. Onto the polish!

Zoya Hudson is from this spring’s Awaken collection. It’s a metallic purple orchid with silver shimmer. I did three coats to get it even, but the application issues were my own, not due to anything with the polish itself.

I added the stripes using Nina Ultra Pro Twinkle Twinkle and a striper brush. Twinkle Twinkle was from a small textured collection (the other colors are silver and light pink). While this is textured, its particles are small enough that it feels more velvety than rough. What you see is one fairly thick coat. I haven’t worn it as a full nail, so I can’t speak to any other application issues.

However, I will note that the brush is really, really wide and a little… wonky, like the ends of the bristles weren’t cut evenly. There’s a comparison of the Nina brush to a Dior one over at Pointless Cafe. It’s entirely possible that the brush issues have gotten sorted out, though.

That’s all for today! Thanks for looking!
