Zoya Water Marble with Belinda, Dream, and Claudine

Hi, all! I have today my first ever successful water marble with Zoya polishes. Apparently the key is filtered water. I’ve always just used regular tap water, but Zoyas are apparently a little too finicky for that. On to the polish!

I was already wearing two coats of Belinda, so I decided to just go right over top of it. If I was going to use this combination again, I would probably use a lighter base so that there was more differentiation in the colors.

If you look closely at the sparkles where Dream is, you can see that, rather than regular hex or square glitter, it has irregularly shaped shards. It’s really quite gorgeous!

Belinda is a beautiful royal purple with blue and pink shimmer. Dream is a deep blue with holographic glitter that dries nearly perfectly smooth. Both Belinda and Dream are from the Zenith collection (winter/holiday 2013). Claudine, on the other hand, is from the Satins (fall 2013) collection and is a deep charcoal gray that has just a slight hint of brown.

That’s all for today! Thanks for looking!
