Hi, everyone! I hope you’re having a good Monday. I seem to have caught my nephew’s mystery illness, and it feels like someone shoved a ping-pong ball down the back of my throat. So, yay for that… It’ll pass, hopefully sooner rather than later.
On to the polish!
Zoya Channing is an absolutely beautiful glowing metallic coppery red from the fall 2013 Satins collection. This was two thin coats. It’s a little prone to brushstrokes, but careful application minimizes that. Channing looks somewhat similar to OPI Deutsch You Want Me Baby? and Orly Flicker, but it’s much redder than either of those two. You can see them compared here.
I added some fall stamping using Zoya Ziv (the gold) and Blair (the deep red) and Bundle Monster plate BM04. If you click to view the enlarged pic, you can see some of the bigger yellow gold bits in the stamping. It’s almost like little glints of sunshine. 🙂 I actually wore this a couple weeks ago, but today is our first real fall-like day. So it seemed appropriate to post it today.
That’s all for today! Thanks for looking!
