Zoya Hazel + China Glaze Mosaic Madness

Friday, y’all! I almost forgot to post this. On to the polish!

Zoya Hazel

Zoya Hazel, from the summer Irresistible collection, is a lovely medium metallic blue with these great flecks of gold. Because it’s a dense foil, this was perfect in two thin coats.

This weirdly angled macro shows the gold particles really well. The gold helps give Hazel a bit of a greenish tint, although it’s mostly a silvery blue to my eyes.

Zoya Hazel + China Glaze Mosaic Madness

I topped Hazel with China Glaze Mosaic Madness, the last one out of the Glitz Bitz n’ Pieces collection. As with all the others, it has multiple sizes of black hex glitter as well as bar glitter, but it has royal blue hex glitter to go with it.

And of course, I had to add some matte top coat. I love how glitter looks mattified, especially these China Glaze ones, but I think I preferred the overall look of this glossy. The matte top coat washed out Hazel so it ended up looking basically silver instead of the complex blue it actually is.

That’s all for today! Thanks for looking!
