OPI The Show Must Go On and Tease-y Does It

My first use of glequins (so named by Sammy at The Nailasaurus)! I used her tutorial to pick up and attach the glequins, although I used a dotting tool instead of a toothpick. I’m not gonna lie: until I started applying the glequins, I really was not pleased with this mani! Thankfully, when it was all done, I loved it!

OPI The Show Must Go On and Tease-y Does It

I started with a base of two coats of The Show Must Go On from – surprise! – the Burlesque collection. It shows as a warm pink glass fleck here, but it has a bit of a golden duochrome at some angles. It’s not a very strong effect, but I promise, it’s there in real life! I decided to layer Tease-y Does It (also from the Burlesque collection) over it, using paper reinforcers to make the half-moon shape. I used the glequins to kind of cover up some goofs at the edges and topped the whole shebang off with some Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat.

That’s all for today! Thanks for looking!
